50 NFC Predictions



Here are 50 predictions for the NFC in the 2008 NFL year...

1. The Cowboys will win the NFC East

2. The Vikings will win the NFC North

3. The Saints will win the NFC South

4. The Seahawks will win the NFC West

5. The Eagles will earn a wild card

6. The Panthers will earn a wild card

7. The Cowboys will earn a first round bye

8. The Vikings will earn a first round bye

9. Adrian Peterson will lead the NFC in rushing with at least 1600 yards

10. Tavaris Jackson will show he can be the Vikings quarterback both now and in the future

11. Calvin Johnson will catch at least 10 TDs and show hw was worth the #2 pick

12. Aaron Rodgers will show ability, but not many results (this year)

13. The Bears will have a bottom-five offense

14. Matt Hasselbeck will throw for at least 23 TDs and 3000 yards

15. Marc Bulger will throw for at least 20 TDs

16. Stephen Jackson will struggle mightily with 10 or less TDs and less than 1000 yards

17. If Matt Leinart is given a chance to play, he will do well enough to show that he deserves the starting job

18. Larry Fitzgerald will blow past Anquan on the stats sheet this year

19. Vernon Davis will catch at least 12 TDs

20. Alex Smith will hate the bench so much, that when he comes off it he'll start playing like the 1st overall pick he is

21. J.T. O'Sullivan will start anywhere from 6 to 9 games

24. Steve Smith will catch at least 9 TDs and 1000 yards

26. Ronde Barber will show signs of him getting older and slower

27. Drew Brees will be the best quarterback in the NFC with 30 TDs and 3500 yards

28. Marques Colston will catch at least 12 TDs and 1200 yards

29. Reggie Bush will rush for less than 900 yards

30. Jeremy Shockey will catch at least 8 TDs

31. Matt Ryan will stuggle mightily in his first year

32. Michael Turner will rush for at least 13 TDs and 1000 yards

33. Tony Romo will throw for at least 25 TDs and 3000 yards

34. Terrell Owens will catch at least 13 TDs and 1100 yards

35. Marion Barber III will rush for at least 15 TDs and 1400 yards

36. Felix Jones will be a legit back-up having at least 5 TDs and 600 yards

37. Asante Samuel will be good, but not worth all that money he's getting

38. Brian Westbrook will have 17 TDs and 1400 yards

39. Donovan McNabb will throw 22 TDs and 3000 yards

40. Jason Campbell will prove that he is the 'Skins QB of the future

41. Clinton Portis will show signs that he is getting very old

42. Eli Manning will throw for 20 TDs and 2500 yards, and not make the playoffs

43. The Giants defense will be no where near where it was last year

44. The Pro Bowl QBs will be Drew Brees, Tony Romo, and Matt Hasselbeck

45. The Cowboys will have the best record in the NFC

46. An NFC team will not win the Super Bowl

47. The Packers could have made it to the NFC Title game if they had Brett Favre
